ACT OF CONSECRATION TO THE SACRED HEART OF JESUS
(On First Friday of Every Month)
Most Sacred Heart of Jesus/ we acknowledge you/ as our God and Saviour. We adore you/ and consecrate ourselves to you. Mercifully accept our consecration. We are your own/ and wish to remain/ always as your own. Lord/ we humbly thank you/ for all the blessings/ you have been showering upon us. We resolve to do/ reparation for all our sins/ and to live/ according to your will.
O, Divine Master/ we, who are called/ to a community of love/ to follow the example of St. Vincent,/ in fulfilling your will/ and preaching the Word of God,/ renew our commitment to you/ as individuals/ and as a community. We entrust/ our Houses and institutions/ and all our activities/ to your care and protection.
Loving Lord,/ we surrender to you/ all that we have/ and we are,/ so that you may use them/ according to your will. All our activities,/ spiritual or material/ may be commenced,/ carried out and fulfilled/ as per your Divine inspiration. Lead us and guide us/ so that,/ filled with the spirit of service/ and selfsacrifice,/ we may grow/ in true Vincentian spirit/ and follow/ the path of Holiness. Mutual trust and understanding,/ love and respect,/ may grow ever stronger/ in our communities. Lord,/ call to our community/ young men/ willing to live faithfully/ the Charism of our
Congregation.
Jesus, the Lord of all,/ keep the leaders and members/ of your Holy Church,/ of
Vincentian Congregation/ and of our nation/ under your care and protection/ and bless abundantly/ all those/ who do good to us/ and those/ who may be against us.
Merciful Jesus,/ bless the sick and the suffering/ in our Congregation/ and our
families; Grant eternal happiness/ to the departed members/ of our families and
Congregation. We give ourselves/ into your loving hands/ and entreat you/ to lead us to heavenly abode/ at the end of our earthly life.
